I was poking along tonight editing a story and suddenly realized there was a blatant Thematic Point in a stray bit of dialogue that I'd somehow managed to completely overlook while drafting the fic. Accidental thematic coherence for the win?

Anyway, I expanded and sharpened that part of the conversation so I can now use it as a callback mention later on, which will be helpful in tightening up the (currently tragically shapeless) ending.

And now, bed. Sleep is both important and delicious. :)
