Not that it was a bad five minutes, but still.

That's from this post, back in November 2003. Which was mostly talking about what I did while home for Thanksgiving: specifically, shopping, homework, and watching the animated Sinbad movie. Which was actually quite fun, but inexplicably had a five-minute humorous epilogue after the story-proper was finished.

Will now attempt to be a useful and productive example of the human race. I dunno how well it'll work -- today's awfully warm, and I'm incurably lazy -- but I'll give it a shot. ;-)

*looks at list* I draw three obvious conclusions: 1) I am way out of touch with popular music, 2) Blender has no taste, and 3) I have no taste either. Oh well.

Am working up the nerve to officially withdraw from my university. I hate dealing with bureaucracies. They intimidate me to an irrational degree.

Okay, it's been up since Sunday, and it has 47 hits, but nobody's reviewed Wearing Thin yet. Nobody loves me! *plaintive wail*

Look, I know it's weird subject matter, and it's an original character, and it's slash, and it's sort of non-smutty sex (which, I guess, makes a lot of people say "What's the point?" or something like that), and I knew it was never going to be popular, but still!

Comment, people! Tell me if it worked. Really. That's all I want to know. Just, you know, respond. After all, if I wrote solely for my own amusement, I wouldn't post the damn things, now would I?

</incredible self-absorption>

ETA: If anyone wants to review Wearing Thin at ff.net, that would be great too...

[ETA2: The ever-so-slightly revised final version is now up on AO3!]
