It took me longer to load the car and eat a quick lunch than I'd expected -- and then I had issues with the gas cap -- so I didn't get out of Ithaca until 2:00pm. After that, I made pretty good time; I reached my parents' house at 6:30pm, four and a half hours later.

Ardis arrived safely last night, and though Vicky's flight was delayed over two hours, she arrived safely this evening.

We will probably be eating Thanksgiving dinner later than we often do, since my mom is recovering from carpal tunnel repair surgery. She will be directing my dad around the kitchen rather than cooking most things herself, so meal preparation can't start until he's ready... and my dad is not a morning person. :-)
