Was so massively bored at work (going back through my previous work and documenting little things that are not our responsibility to fix, but that the client should know about) that I started writing chapter 14 of "Apartment Manager."

It sucks ass. See, I'm trying to work a conversation around to make a certain set of points, and the bleeping characters don't want to go there. But it is IMPORTANT that they go there, because it touches off a character decision that then becomes a plot point.

Erm, I kinda got caught up in reading the giant splooge of the H/H shippers wank (Saw your H/H fic being praised somewhere, by the way) and now it's past midnight and I still haven't finished beta-ing Knives. Bad Las! Is it okay if I finish it in the morning? With the timezone difference, it should be there when you wake up.

But you did mention you were on holiday tomorrow. Are you going away? If you're leaving earlyish, let me know and I'll stay up to finish the beta. Seriously.

Ack, I can't remember where. Sorry! It wasn't a review or anything, just them mentioning it as a fic they'd liked, and me going any further into this would necessitate HBP spoilers.

Okay. Reply to any comment of mine five minutes before closing, if you haven't got it by then, and gmail will give me the alert and I'll send you what I have. Because by that point it'll just be me perusing the document over and over anyway.

I should mention that most of my editing suggestions go like this: "Make it sexier! Make it more immediate! Make us kinda want to molest Lucius' unwashed body!"
