Was so massively bored at work (going back through my previous work and documenting little things that are not our responsibility to fix, but that the client should know about) that I started writing chapter 14 of "Apartment Manager."

It sucks ass. See, I'm trying to work a conversation around to make a certain set of points, and the bleeping characters don't want to go there. But it is IMPORTANT that they go there, because it touches off a character decision that then becomes a plot point.

I really like this story, by the way. There's a few things I strongly feel ought to be tweaked a little, but only to bring them into line with the rest of it. Truly, you are the Mistress of Ginny.

That's still bizarre to me, since I never really even noticed her in the books until after I'd started writing her in fics. Eh. You go with what you get.
