So, if I joined

thirtyforthree and started writing ficlets after November, which threesome should I choose?

Ginny/Harry/Draco -- The dynamics there are fascinating, especially the potential for possessive obsession...

Harry/Luna/Draco -- Trust me, it could work. Go read Paint the Town if you don't believe me.

Ginny/Harry/Hermione -- I've always meant to write this but haven't had a really good reason to. I almost got there once, but I chickened out while the ficlet was still just Ginny/Hermione.

Faith/Duo/Sasuke -- The continuing adventures of the "Lemonade" trio! ...On second thought, I should finish the original story first. *sigh*

Ginny/Hermione/Luna -- Hey, crack is fun!

All three individual couples are ones I can enjoy, but i've never seen a threesome between them. Usually when there's ginny, it's a triangle with her as the center. Carefully, of course. :-) I find that most fictional relationship can be made to work if the author sets things up well and then balances them correctly. (Ginny at the center? Since when? I'd pick Harry as the obvious bone of contention.)

I would too, but then we're weird in that we can accept bi pairings. Most people are either slash or het, and if they're slash ginny is the evil girlfriend/delusional bitch you have to get rid of for the harry/draco to happen -- and if it's het, she's the SO CUTE WITH HER DREAM GUY HARRY BUT THEN SHE FALLS FOR DRACO OMG WHO WILL SHE CHOOSE ginny-sue. -__-; people rarely write triangles where the people who are competing are of opposite genders, or at least not serious ones, where they both have equal chances.

Ginny falling for Draco and choosing him instead of Harry is... there are no words for the sheer implausibility. I think I've seen a few of those actually -- they're the ones that turn Harry into an abusive jerk, a complete idiot, or something like that, right? And then totally ignore Voldemort and the prophecy, or somehow twist it so that Ginny-and-Draco's Twu Wuv can Conquer All Evil!!1!

I am as bad as the next person in playing around with outcomes that are canonically improbable, but at least I try to base my alterations in something realistic.
