I'd been waiting on two documents before doing my own taxes, and when they arrived two weeks ago, I was all set to get everything filed! And get my refund! ...And then I realized that one of the forms was wrong. *headdesk*

financial grumbling )

...

At least I'll be able to finish the damn return tomorrow.

ETA: I was able to view and print the revised form at home. I still think it may be a little funny, but the key problem has been fixed and at this point I don't want to jump through any further hoops. If the data produces reasonable-looking results when I enter it into the program, I'm just going to go with this version and be done with the whole thing.

On due consideration, the opening of scene two was fine as-is; I was just in one of those moods where everything I write looks terrible and blanked on how to transition from the intro to other stuff.

Today I wrote 200 words of that transition, and "Guardian" ch. 17 is now at 1,525 total. My only choice now is when, exactly, to have a man with a gun kick down the door. (Um. Metaphorically. There are no actual doors or guns involved in this scene.)
